Emerging Science consists of a series of short videos, with an informative format and accessible language, that turn them into informative pills that are easy to visualise, understand and share on social networks.

With this new series of videos, the Scientific Culture and Innovation Unit of the University of Valencia resumes the dissemination project with the ICMol, located in the Science Park of the University of Valencia. The centre investigates materials science and nanoscience from a molecular point of view and explores applications of molecules and materials in various areas of interest such as molecular spintronics, nanotechnology, catalysis or molecular electronics, among others.

In this new phase of Emerging Science, researchers are part of several multidisciplinary research groups formed by specialists in various subjects around the world, along with master’s, doctoral and postdoctoral studies. The protagonists explain how they have reached the research career, the obstacles that they have encountered, the importance of teamwork, what is the area of their research, the applications that in the future may have what they are researching and how they are living this stage at the ICMol.

On the Unit’s YouTube channel you can watch about twenty videos from the previous edition of Emerging Science, where researchers were from the Institute of Integrative Systems Biology (I²SysBio), a mixed centre of the University of Valencia and the Spanish National Research Council.
