On Thursday 11 May at the UV Sports Centre the University of Valencia recognised more than 400 athletes who, over the past season, managed to make the podium in internal competitions.

The trophies and medals were awarded by the director of Sports Services at the University of Valencia, Ana Mª Gómez, in cooperation with the trainers for the various competitions. Ana Mª Gómez congratulated the medalists and reconised their success as university athletes. She encouraged them to continue their dedication as competitive athletes and as university students and she praised their commitment, effort and perseverance

The awards of the Internal Championship in team sports went to the top three finishers in men’s 7 football, basketball (men’s and mixed), 3x3 basketball, mixed volleyball and men’s indoor football.

As for the Rector’s Trophy, trophies were awarded to the first three finishers in men's 7 football, indoor football (men's and women's), basketball (men's and mixed) and mixed volleyball.

In individual sports, the season closed with a total of 75 medallists spread across the categories of rock climbing, Valencian pelota (ball), orienteering, kendo, archery, tennis and paddleball.
