Emerging contaminants (drugs, perfluorinated compounds, detergents, additives, drugs of abuse, nano-materials, micro-plastics, trace metals) present in waters constitute a specific footprint of the pressure that human activity exercises on ecosystems. The aim of the meeting is to expose the problems caused by the presence of these pollutants in the environment; to talk about the analysis method, indicators and their consumption; to present current research in this field, and the exchange of knowledge between different disciplines.

This encounter is part of the Dissemination Days programmed within the framework of the Anthropocen@ project. Organised by the Research Group on Food and Environmental Safety of the Universitat de València (SAMA-UV) and the Department of Environmental Quality and Soils and the Desertification Research Centre-CIDE (CSIC-UVEG-GV).

The day was aimed at people who had an interest in environmental issues. To attend, prior registration had to be done. Inscription was free.
