Under the title 'Andreu Alfaro. Drawing Space'and curated by Anacleto Ferrer and Artur Heras, this exhibition had opened its doors. It is a journey through Andreu Alfaro's creative process where we discover his passion for form, always guided by drawing and represented in various facets: drawing, photography, painting and, finally, sculpture, for which he will be known and recognised internationally.

This exhibition has been conceived by the Vice-rectorate of Culture of the UV, the International Centre of Gandia and the Department of Culture of the City Council of Gandia, as a tribute to one of the essential figures of culture. It has also been curated by two connoisseurs of his work, also co-authors of the exhibition 'Alfaro-Fuster. Finger rehearsal' which was held at the La Nau Cultural Centre in 2007.

The exhibition opened its doors on Thursday 27 April in the Casa de Cultura Marqués de González de Quirós and can be visited until 11 June. The production of the exhibition has also counted on the collaboration of the family of one of the most international Valencian artists.

The opening ceremony of the exhibition was attended by the Vice-rector of Culture of the UV, Ester Alba, the mayor of Gandia, José Manuel Prieto, the councillor of culture, Nahuel Gonzàlez, the academic director of the CIG-UV, Joan del Alcàzar, as well as the children and relatives of Andreu Alfaro.
