The 7th Congress on the Advancement of the Open Government will be held on 13, 19 and 21 May. The first session on the right to information during the pandemic has been included as this is a particularly controversial subject due to the difficulties of access to information on contracts and grants, the paralysis of transparency portals or the suspension of the processing of access requests.

The situation will be analysed by the main transparency NGOs in Europe and Spain and the most prominent specialists. The inauguration will be attended by the Vice-Principal for Innovation and Transfer, María Dolores Real, and the Councillor for Transparency, Cooperation and Democratic Quality, Rosa Pérez.

On the 19th and 21st the congress will be dedicated to the limits to the right of access, with the leading jurists in Spain on the subject. The academic papers will be published in a monograph.
