More than 5,000 people visited the Science Park this morning to celebrate the great Science and Innovation festival at the Universitat de València. A volume of public that has again stressed the stability of Expociencia, already consolidated as one of the main initiatives aimed at sharing the scientific spirit with people and stimulating scientific vocations.

In this eleventh edition of Expociencia, visitors were able to enjoy a hundred or so recreational proposals on science and innovation. In addition to the activities that the research institutes located in the Science Park (PCUV) and the School of Engineering (ETSE) offer each year, the festival has had the participation of companies from the Park, different centres, departments and entities of the Universitat de València (Botanical Garden, Clinics of the Lluís Alcanyís Foundation, Natural History Museum of the Universitat, etc.), as well as different public and private entities external to the academic institution.

Different associations and NGOs, the City of Arts and Sciences and the Instituto de Tecnología Química (ITQ-UPV/CSIC), among others, have also joined this edition.

Expociència 2018 has been a reflection of how science can be fun if it is transmitted through passion, mutual understanding and responsibility. Organized by the Universitat de València, from its Science Park, Expociencia has the collaboration of the Spanish National Research Council (CSIC), as well as the support of the Valencian Government.
