The X International Workshop on Sensors and Molecular Recognition will take place in the assembly hall of the Faculty of Pharmacy on the 7th and the 8th of July. Organised by Interuniversity Research Institute for Molecular Recognition and Technological Development (IDM-UV/UPV), the workshop is in its 10th edition and its inauguration this year will be presented by the vice-principal of Research and Science Policy, Pilar Campins.

145 people have signed up for the workshop, a programme that consists of conferences by Spanish and Foreign researchers, 20 lectures and around 80 posters about the various lines of research carried out by IDM, ranging from the development of chemical sensors, pharmacodynamics or new materials for controlled-release to analytical methodologies and microelectronic equipment.

The congress will be inaugurated by vice-principal of Research, Pilar Campins Falcó, as well as by the directors of IDM, Ramón Martínez-Máñez, representing UPV, and Ana Mª Costero Nieto, representing Universitat de València.

IDM (Interuniversity Research Institute for Molecular Recognition and Technological Development) is a mixed institute of Universitat de València and Universitat Politècnica de València, located on the VLC-Campus.
