The Physical Education and Sports Service of the Universitat de València (SEFUV) within the framework of the Divina Pastora Chair for Adapted Sports have organised the first sailing course which will start in October and which plan to develop their second annual in February 2018. On the other hand, the 17th and 18th November, la Universitat will celebrate the 4th O-Precisión sessions in the gardens Jardines de Viveros.

The registration period for both formative activities is open through the webpage of the SEFUV.

In the inclusive sailing section, the 5th October from 14:30 to 17:30 at the sailing school Escuela de Vela Marina Juan Carlos I will take place a baptism at sea (inclusive dinghy sailing). The date coincides with the start of the Sailing School of the SEFUV. There is free entry. Then, the 20th, 21st and 22nd October the school Escola de la Mar of Burriana will hold the first course of inclusive dinghy sailing initiation in a shared boat.

On the other hand both the SEFUV and the Càtedra Divina Pastora d’Esport Adaptat will resume next November the workshop and the initiation sessions to the organisation of precise sportive O-Precisión tests. This is the fourth annual of the sessions, that will take place the 17th and 18th in the Jardines de Viveros

The workshop is addressed to those students interested in the promotion and/or enjoyment of the physical-sport activities that are developed in the natural environment, as well as to the teaching and technical staff, specialists and people interested on this training. With the workshop, the Chair expects to bring the orientation discipline closer to everybody who sign up for it.

Unlike the workshop, the conferences will be addressed to the teaching staff of physical-sport activities, to the teaching staff of the physical education subject, coaches of sports modalities related to the natural environment, specialists, people interested on this training and specifically to orientation coaches interested in the training of trainers. The purpose is to train technical personnel in the design, planning and organization of O-Precisión tests.

With the inclusive dinghy sailing and O-Precisión courses, the SEFUV and the Divina Pastora Chair of la Universitat expand their training programme with the objective of promoting and fostering the study of adapted sports.
