The ceremony, that took place in Aula Magna, was presided over by Javier Roca, Vice Rector for Academic Affairs and Quality, who presented the awards. During the celebration the contributions of the faculty and staff including technical, management, administrative, and support personnel who have recently retired were also recognized and acknowledged. 

The students who received awards in the medical program were Marina Carrillo Sala, Iris Rodríguez Juan, Lara Blasco García, Maria de los Ángeles Marín Torres, Félix Platero Armero and Francisco Reyes Albadalejo; and in dentistry program, Alexandra Flesariu Onu and  Pablo Bayón Bayo.

Along with the Vice-Rector, the ceremony was also attended by Amparo Ruiz, Dean of the Faculty of Medicine and Dentistry, the Former Recotr Mavi Mestre and Ferran Calabuig, Dean of the Faculty of Physical Activity and Sports Sciences.
