The vice-principal for Territorial Projection and Participation, Jorge Hermosilla; the head of the Analysis and Programming Service (SAP), Teresa Bausá and the delegate of the principal for the Strategic Plan, Tomás González, have presentes the indicators system which will make it possible to calculate and evaluate the success level of the objectives of the Strategic Plan of the Universitat de València (PEUV).

The SAP has created a monitoring and evaluation system made up of 119 indicators which calculate the evolution of the objectives stablished in the PEUV in the framework of the four strategies: teaching, research, transference and innovation, life at the campus and participation. The resulting data of this analysis have been presented to the dean and direction teams. They will have access to that data through an application for its exploitation and study.

These meetings also aim at encouraging the participation of the dean and direction teams in the execution of the strategic acting lines of the 2016-2019 PEUV. The purpose is to familiarize the university community with the structure and content of the PEUV and to encourage that directors and deans of University Institutes present concrete proposals and initiatives in order to improve the achievement of the objectives and priorities which determine the acts of the UV for 2018-2019.

The vice-principal Jorge Hermosilla has affirmed that the management team aims at betting on “a participated strategy and a participative implantation” of the 2016-2019 Strategic Plan. With this purpose, the meetings which will take place during this week aims at “making easy the collective thinking about the consecution, the monitoring of the objectives, the execution of the acting lines, betting on flexibility and effectiveness of the Strategic Plan. The indicators systme will make easier a greater transparency of the process.”
