Innerarity, Ekaizer and Ángel Gabilondo in different acts at La Nau during this week

Legal Philosophy professor Daniel Innerarity, journalist Ernesto Ekaizer, and the former minister of Education Ángel Gabilondo will take part in different acts organised by the Office of the Vice-Principal for Cultre and Sport during this week at La Nau. The acts are free until full capacity is reached.

‘Vida i mort de les democràcies’ is the title of the conference by Daniel Innerarity held on Wednesday (12 of December) at 7 p.m.

Innerarity

Innerarity is a Legal Philosophy professor in the University of the Basque Country and in the European Institute of Florence. He works with the newspapers ‘El Correo’, ‘El Diario Vasco’ and El País. He has been a guest professor in different European universities such as the Sorbonne in Paris. He has also received the National Award of Essay, the Miguel de Unamuno Award of Essay, the Humanities, Arts, Culture and Social Sciences Award by the Eusko Ikaskuntza-Caja Laboral and the Viana Prince Award of Culture. His last books are ‘La política en tiempos de indignación’, ‘La democracia en Europa’ and ‘Política para perplejos’.

Ekaizer

Ernesto Ekaizer presents his book ‘El libro negro’ on Thursday at 7 p.m. Mónica Oltra, vice-president of the Valencian Government, and Antonio Ariño, vice-principal for Culture and Sport will take part in the evet along with him.

Ekaizer (Buenos Aires, 1949) worked as chief editor in ‘La Vanguardia’ in Madrid, as columnist in ‘Cambio 16’ journal, as assistant director of ‘El Globo’ journal, and director of the Economy journal ‘Cinco Días’. He specialised during the period working on Economy journalism, but he leaned towards Law journalism due to the cases of De la Rosa and Mario Conde. In 1998, he was recruited by the ‘El País’ newspaper. Nowadays, he regularly participates in television and radio chats on recent political developments.

Gabilondo

‘Literatura i dol’ is the title of a round table scheduled for Friday at 6 p.m. on the occasion of the edition of Dolores López Alarcón’s books ‘Te nombro’. Antonio Ariño, vice-principal for Culture and Sport; Ángel Gabilondo, politician and professor of Philosophy; Andrés Perelló, Permanent Delegate of Spain to UNESCO; and Dolor López Alarcón, the author of the book will be present in the event.

Ángel Gabilondo (San Sebastián, 1949) was the minister of Education between 2009 and 2011. He studied in the Autonomous University of Madrid. In 2007, he presided the Spanish Conference of Rectors (CRUE).
