The Capital and Science encounters are sessions about financing entrepreneurs and scientific and technological based companies, using venture capital. Organised by the Science Park of the UV, this forum, which reaches its 5th edition, is aimed at developing collaborative environments to debate, search and facilitate solutions for financing innovative managerial projects.

Considered in the framework of a debate forum, the 5th Capital and Science Meeting will start with the opening conference of Manuel Illueca, managing director of the Valencian Finance Institute (IVF), who will discuss about “The role of public administration in the business finance”. The session will be completed with the interventions of different experts on similar subjects and with the presentations of three participating companies or in process of participating in venture capital, Epidisease, Bemygene and Proiser, the three of them located in the Science Park of the UV.

The 5th Capital and Science Meeting counts on the collaboration of the Valencian Department for Education, Culture and Sports of the Valencian Government, Caixa Popular and Forinvest, the major space of financial and managerial networking of the country.

The session is open to the public.
