Japanese fencing shines at the UV

University Sports Pavilion housed the last 18 and 19, the 14th Kendo Open, one of the most viewed and striking dates of the university sports. Around a hundred of students, all over Spain and the Waseda University (Tokyo), participated in the competition.

The Japanese delegation, composed by six men and three women, was led by the professor Takayuki YANO (8ºD) and Takeaki TAKESHITA (7ºD). This interchange has place each year on the occasion of the agreement signed between both universities since 2005.
