Journalism limits and freedom of expression: these will be the topics of the I Season ‘Emprensa’ of Business Culture Chair of the University of Valencia

The University–Business Foundation of the University of Valencia will be the place where the media and the companies will change opinions about journalism’s limits, freedom of expression and the importance of the agencies and lobbies. It is going to be next Monday 23th of april during the I ‘Emprensa’ Season organised by Business Culture Chair of the University of Valencia.

This season, which starts at 17 o’clock, belongs to the new cycle of Public Affairs of the Business Culture Chair. During the season, there will be two different debates where six of the most important directors of valencian media will change opinions about the influence of the companies to build what it’s important in the society. Also they will speak about the paper of the communication agencies and the lobbies in the economy of a country. In addition, the directors will reflect about the challenges, the alliances and the existing barriers that suffer public and private companies and journalists and the media where they work.

In the debates will participate Carlos Pascual de Miguel, director of Business Culture Chair of the University of Valencia, Julián Quirós, director of Las Provincias, Julio Monreal, director of Levante-EMV, Javier Alfonso, director of Valencia Plaz, Iñaki Zaragüeta, director of La Razón CV, José Carlos Herreros, director of Radio Valencia-SER and Xavier Borrás director of El Mundo CV.

What’s the Business Culture Chair of the University of Valencia?
Business Culture Chair of the University of Valencia has the objective of the transmition the bussines culture to the university community though some practical programmes that promotes business values and the integration of the students in the private sector. In total, these programmes have formed 7.373 people and 347 teachers, who come from the business world, have been teaching.
