Pinochet.  Biografía militar y política is a reference life story of the Chilean dictator. This is the first biography of General Augusto Pinochet based on exhaustive documentation and an extensive bibliography, which includes archive documents as well as speeches, interviews, articles and books of his authorship, testimonies of his victims and opinions of his relatives and collaborators. The work includes quotations from several letters exchanged between Pinochet and General Franco between September 12th, 1973 and October 8th, 1975, as well as the account of the presence of the Chilean dictator at Franco's funeral in what was his only visit in Spain.

Mario Amorós (Alacant, 1973) holds a Doctorate in History from the University of Barcelona and is a journalist.
