The ceremony will start at 13:00h at the Salón de Grados of the Faculty of Mathematics, and afterwards there will be a debate.

José Martí Gómez works as a journalist since 1966, and has received some awards such as Manuel del Arco Prize and Ciutat de Barcelona Prize. Throughout his professional career, José Martí Gómez has worked with all genres: interview and report, politic and cultural articles - he was a stringer in London for Cadena SER during five years- and hot news by combining information with opinion in daily sections such as ‘Diario de un reportero’ or the opinion pages of ‘La Vanguardia’ and in the ‘Bestiario de Hora 25’ of Carlos Llamas together with Josep Ramoneda. He published a memoir in 2016, ‘El oficio más hermoso del mundo’, a tour through five decades of Spanish politic, social and cultural life from a journalism in decline point of view.

Javier del Pino started working at Cadena SER in 1988, where he became a member of a team of several programmes until 1997. In that period he was named permanent stringer of Cadena SER and contributor of the newspaper El País in Washington, where he lived for fifteen years.  He covered all the events occurred at that time, from the electoral draw between George Bush and Al Gore, the 11-S, to the Katrin phenomena and the victory of Barack Obama. In September 2012 he came back to Spain to be in charge of the management and presentation of ‘A vivir que sueño dos días’, which is still in his hands. His journalistic and radio activity has been awarded with multiple awards such as the Cirilo Rodríguez International Prize, la Antena de Oro and Onda Prizes.
