Justo Herrera is a doctor in Economics and Business Studies from the Universitat de València and a lecturer at his Department of Business Administration ‘Juan José Renau Piqueras’.

His teaching activity has been developed in the field of business management, in particular in the areas of Human Resources and Strategic Management, in the degrees of Labour Relations and Human Resources, Business Administration and Management and International Business. He has had five-yearly teaching increments recognised.

His research task focuses on the field of Human Resources, in particular in Human Resources in Public Administrations and in Social Economy. In this area he has published several manuals and scientific articles, apart from participating in national and international conferences and research projects about Human Resources policies in Public Administrations as a main researcher or as a member of a research group. He has also been the head researcher of several advice and technical suport agreements to drive specific initiatives of management of Human Resources in many Public Administrations.

He has been the general manager of Human and Economic Resources and Human Resources in the Conselleria de Sanitat Universal i Salut Pública in the Generalitat Valenciana. He has also been a deputy minister of Sanitat, Consum i Benestar Social del Ministat de Sanitat, Consum i Benestar Social. In the Universitat de València he was the manager of the Business Management department ‘Juan José Renau Piqueras’.

Lecturer Justo Herrera has been designated Vice-Principal for Economics and Infrastructures and will start his work today, Monday 25^th.

The Principal of the Universitat de València; Mª Vicenta Mestre, has thanked lecturer Juan Luis Gandia for his dedication and work during his period as a Vice-Principal for Economics and Infrastructures.

Moreover, Beatriz Gómez Martínez, degree official at the Universitat de València, will take a position in the Economic Subdivision. Until her designation, Beatriz Gómez was the deputy director of the Escola Valenciana d’Estudis de la Salut.
