Unit Chair for Scientific Dissemination of the Universitat de València; Carolina Moreno, full university professor of Journalism of the Universitat de València and the book author.

Emilio Muñoz, who has managed the Spanish contemporary scientific politics from several positions, criticizes the antiscientific and ideological version of the current economy. Furthermore, he emphasizes the development of a ‘biological economy’ model that addresses the relationship between issues such as the evolution, knowledge, politics and money.

Is it possible that the human species steps backwards despite the rapid evolution of its technological products? Could the human social life be unaware of the Darwin’s Theory of Evolution? How the current deregulation of the European economic system and the austerity policies can affect the society and our biology? The book considers these questions and propose the answers to that crossroads.
