The Cultural Centre La Nau of the Universitat de València hosts on Tuesday 23 of January at 19 p.m. a panel of discussion entitled ‘A los 100 años de la Revolución de Octubre’ on the occasion of the anniversary of the 1917 Bolshevik Revolution. This event is programmed in the Fòrum de Debats of the Office of the Vice-Principal for Culture and Equality of the Universitat de València. It is organized alongside with the Comisión Centenario Octubre.

Constantino Bértolo, writer, editor and literary critic; Vicenta Verdugo, historian at the Universitat de València; and Julián de Marcelo, former councilman of PCE in Valencia; will participate in the debate.

The October Revolution was the second phase of the 1917 Russian Revolution. It followed the February Revolution that put an end to the tsarist regime and stabilised the Russian Soviet Federative Socialist Republic.  Comisión Centenario Octubre is integrated by several Valencians who are interested in recovering the importance of this historical event and go in-depth in the study of the European history during the 20th century.
