The Universitat de València ranks third in Spain, 95 in Europe and 210 worldwide according to the University Ranking by Academic Performance-URAP carried out in January 2018 by the URAP Research Laboratory. URAP is integrated by members of the METU (Informatics Institute of Middle East Technical University, Turkey).
This report ranks 2,500 universities around the World depending on the quality and quantity of their academic publications and their impact. They analyse published articles, citations and international cooperation on the basis of the data provided by Science-Clarivate Analytics’ Website.
This year, the Universitat de València ranks third in Spain. The Universitat de Barcelona and the Universitat Autónoma de Barcelona are the only ones ahead.
The ranking is led by Harvard, Toronto, Oxford, París VI and Stanford. The Universidad Autónoma de Madrid and the Complutense de Madrid follow the Universitat de València in the ranking holding the 210 and the 225 position respectively worldwide.
