The University to host 28M election debates

The La Nau Cultural Centre hosts the electoral debates organised by the Spanish radio network Cadena SER. On Friday 12 May, the debate of the candidates for the presidency of the Generalitat Valenciana will take place, and on Monday 15 May, the candidates running for mayor of the city of Valencia will have their turn.

The Matilde Salvador room of La Nau will host, as it did in 2019, the debates organised by Cadena SER for the elections on Sunday 28 May.  On Friday 12 will be the turn of the debate of the candidates to the presidency of the Generalitat Valenciana, with the participation of Ximo Puig (PSPV-PSOE), Carlos Mazón (PP), Mamen Peris (Ciudadanos), Joan Baldoví (Compromís), Carlos Flores (Vox) and Héctor Illueca (Unidas Podemos Esquerra Unida).

On Monday 15 will be the turn of Joan Ribó (Compromís), Mª José Catalá (PP), Sandra Gómez (PSOE), Fernando Giner (Ciudadanos), and Juan Manuel Badenas (Vox), candidates running for mayor of the city of Valencia.

The Regional Manager of the SER, Bernardo Guzmán, will moderate the debates that are expected to last 80 minutes.
