Libraries now open 24 hours a day and on weekends

The Universitat de València will keep some libraries and study rooms open at special schedule until 3 July so that students can make use of them to prepare for end-of-year exams.

The Science Library on the Burjassot Campus; the Library of Social Sciences (only floor -1) on the Tarongers Campus; and the Humanities Library on the Blasco Ibáñez Campus will be open 24 hours from Monday 13 May until 9 pm on 3 July.

The Health Sciences Library at the Blasco Ibáñez Campus will be open on weekends until 30 June, from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. The Humanities Library, at the Blasco Ibáñez Campus, will be open on weekends until 30 June, from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m.

The Thesaurus Room of La Nau will be open from Monday to Saturday from 8:30 a.m. to 9:00 p.m., and on Sundays and public holidays from 9:15 a.m. to 1:45 p.m.

On Sunday 26th May, the libraries of Health Sciences, Humanities (both at the Blasco Ibáñez Campus) and Thesaurus Room (in La Nau), will be closed as they are the headquarters of an electoral college. But that Sunday the Aulario I (Avenida Menéndez Pelayo s/n) will be open from 9 to 21:45 hours.

At the Ontinyent Campus, the Ontinyent Library and Study Room are open from 4 May to 30 June from Monday to Friday from 8 a.m. to midnight, and Saturday and Sunday from 9 a.m. to midnight.

It should be remembered that during extraordinary opening hours there will be no loan service, only consultation in the room.

In order to access the library during this period, users must identify themselves with their student card or any other document proving that they form part of this university community. Yor ID-card is also valid.

Students, teachers, students residing in the Rector Peset Hall of Residence, people belonging to institutions that have signed an agreement with the Universitat and members of the Alumni UV collective will also be able to access.
