More than 100 specialists discuss vocational training at the Universitat profesional

The Faculty of Philosophy and Educational Sciences of the Universitat will host the 3rd International Vocational Training Research Congress 'Crossing Boundaries in Vocational Education and Training: Pedagogical concerns and market demands' on 2 and 3 May.

In this edition, 65 contributions will be presented by more than 100 scientists from 17 countries (from Europe, Africa, Asia and North and South America). The meeting will host two plenary conferences and will present research results on career and professional vocation; systems and agents of professional training, assessment and quality; teaching; dual training; inclusion and continuing training.

The axis of the congress is included in the functions of professional training in the face of increasing precariousness in the world of work.

The congress is biannual and the two previous editions were held in German universities. After the Universitat de València meeting, it is planned that the next one will be held at a Swiss university.

The conference held at the Universitat de València is supported by the European Research Network on Vocational Training (VETNET). It is organised by the Department of Didactics and School Organisation of the Faculty of Philosophy and Educational Sciences and the Transitions research group (GIUV2013-093) of the Universitat de València.
