Cullera held the first conference of the month on 4^th December. María Jesús Perales (Department of Research Methods and Education Assessment) and Jean Rwiyalilira imparted the conference Music and Cultural Diversity: Percussion Brings us Closer to Africa.  

The conferences of Unisocietat will arrive to Bétera, Benetússer and Gandia on 12^th December. Emilia Matallana will impart the conference Biotechnology: in your Daily Lfe in Camp de Túria and Bétera. Emilio Barba (Department of Microbiology and Ecology) will impart the conference Sexual Selection: Love or Interest in the Choice of a Partner? in Benetússer.  Meanwhile, Jesús Alcolea (Philosophy) will talk about Living and Thinking of Cinema in Gandia.

Then, he will impart it on Massamagrell, Paterna, Ontinyent and Riba-roja de Túria on 13^th December. The professor Adrià Besó (History of Art) will be in Massamagrell, where he will analyse the Valencian Landscapes and the Education of its Cultural Image.  Carlos Flores (Constitutional Law, Political and Administrative Sciences) will impart in Paterna The Constitutional Reform: What? How? When? At what cost? The capital of Vall d’Albaida will receive Teresa Empar Aguado (Sociology and Social Anthropology), who will give the conference Feminist Economics. Ana María Botella (Music, Plastic and Corporal Expression) will conduct her conference The Music of Moros y Cristianos: the Language of a Festivity in Riba-roja de Túria.

The professor Gabriel Terol (Theory of the languages and Communication Sciences) will impart on 18^th December the conference China: Future Between West and East at the Education Centre for Old People of La Elinana. The professor Isabel Burdiel (Financial Law and Legal History) will impart the conference Reading Frankenstein, or the Modern Prometheus in the 21^st Century in the Culture House of Alzira.

On 19^th December, Unisocietat-Quart the Poblet will take place. Professor Ana Cros (Institute of Material Science) will give the lecture Future Materials Within Reach. Finally, on 20^th December the head offices of Unisocietat in Requena will welcome Rafael Crespo (Mathematical Analysis), who will deal with Mathematics to Succeed in the Market.  A Mathematical Approach to the World of Advertising.

The cycle of conferences Unisocietat, which will continue monthly during this academic year until June, is organised by the Vice-Principal for Territorial Projection and Society in collaboration with the City Councils of Alzira, Bétera, Benetússer, Cullera, La Eliana, Massamagrell, Paterna, Quart de Poblet, Requena, Riba-roja de Túria, Ontinyent and Gandia (under the name of Unimajors) and the financial support of Caixa Popular (in ten offices), Caixa Ontinyent (in Ontinyent) and Banco Santander (in Gandia).
