Sub-championship in athletics

In ahletics, the UV was proclaimed the runner-up in the regional championship held on March 27 and 28 in Castelló. The team completed a very good performance that allowed them to finish in second position, with Universitat Jaume I on the first place and Polytechnic University of Valencia on the third. Individually, the UV athletes have won 26 medals: nine golds, eight silver and nine bronze.

Autonomus silver medal por judo

In judo, the Univeristat de València won the sub-championship in the regional competition held on March 28 at the UPV facilities, with a total of 68 points. The team got 11 medals in the women's and men´s category: four gold, 4 silver, 3 bronze.

Beach Volleyball: All the podiums

In beach volleyball, the UV did a great performance during the championship held on the Sant Joan d´Alacant beach.The univeristy team won a total of five medals: one gold, two sliver, two bronze, in all the categories. Men´s team got the gold medal while women´s team got silver and bronze. In the mix category, the UV also got the bronze medal. Thanks to these results, the Universitat de València finished in second place overall by universities. The UV has started the year with very good results in sporting events held so far. We want to thank our student athletes and the technical staff for their effort and dedication, and wish them much luck during the rest of the season.
