The Classroom of the Comic of the Universitat de València has organised for tomorrow, Wednesday 27 March, at 7 p.m. (Cultural Centre La Nau, Gonzalo Montiel Hall), the meeting with the North American author Alitha Martínez. Martínez has worked on some of the main Marvel series, such as 'Iron Man' or 'Black Panther: World of Wakanda', as well as on personal projects and popular series such as 'Riverdale', the update of the classic American comic 'Archie'.
Her stay in Valencia will serve to talk to her about her work and career, in the context of mainstream American comics and the influence of her status as a Latin-American author, as well as her most personal projects.
The talk, moderated by Professor Álvaro Pons, is organised by the SM-UV Foundation Comic Studies Chair, with the support of the US Embassy in Spain.
