Open the registration for the Choir School La Nau of the Universitat de València

The Choir School of the Universitat de València has opened the period of registration for new pupils from the age of four onwards for the scholar year 2019-2020. Every child is able to sing since it is a natural activity, therefore, there is no entrance test; the only requirement is to be willing to sing all together.

The Choir School of the Universitat de València, leadered by Mònica Perales i Massana, was created in 2002 with the purpose of including the musical training for children from the age of four through a choir in the heart of the Universitat de València. The School is based on the premise that the song is a basic element to structure a great musical learning and a great midst to develop the spontaneous expression and it constitutes a basic element for the human development. The song itself develops the auditory perception and emotional, physical and mental experiences. Every child is able to sing since it is a natural activity as well as the movement and the ability to speak are, therefore, there is no entrance test; the only requirement is to be willing to sing all together.

The rehearsals take place at the ‘Col·legi Major Rector Peset’ every Monday from the 7th of October of 2019 to the 15th of Juny of 2010.

The Choir School is integrated by three groups: Cor Mestral, from 4 years old to six years old; Cor Garbí, from 7 years old to 12 years old; and Cor Tramuntana, from the age of 13 onwards.
