Professor Vicente Ripoll, awarded Academic Excellence in Management Control

Vicente Ripoll, Accounting Professor at the University of Valencia, has been awarded the Academic Excellence in Management Control which gives the Global Chartered Controller Institute. The ceremony was held in ICADE Business School (Comillas Pontifical University) in Madrid.

In this third edition of the awards, other people have also been given prizes: Abel Moragón, Head of Planning and Control of Real Madrid FC (Excellence Award in Consolidated Career in Management Control) and Juan Jiménez, financial director of Mahou San Miguel Group (Excellence Award in Management Control).

Global Chartered Controller Institute organises these awards in collaboration with ICADE Business School (Comillas Pontifical University) with the objective of recognizing and emphasizing the best practices in Management Control and the role of the professionals that spread and preserve the figure of the Controller as a key profile in the 21st century organisations.

Vicente Ripoll has been teaching for 40 years in the field of Costs Compatibility and Management Control. He is president of AICOgestión and director and professor in the MA of Finances and CdeG and MA in SAP ERP Controlling. He is also director of the research group IMACCev and the Latin American congress CdG.

He has published over 350 articles and he has directed 17 doctoral theses. He was research director of the Compatibility Department of the University of Valencia and the Compatibility Department. His areas of interest are linked with Management Control.
