From May 26 to June 11, the Retiro Park in Madrid hosts the 82nd edition of the Madrid Book Fair, an event with more than 400 booths dedicated to books that brings together more than three million visitors during 17 days. This year the Universitat de València's Publications stand will be part of the Science and Universities Square, a space located at the end of the route shared by other university publishers and the UNE (Spanish University Publishers Union).

All the cassettes that are part of this space will be distributed in the form of a square and, in the center, a giant cervix provided by CSIC will be installed, which will house a projection on neuronal function that can be visited by all the public attending the fair.

This new format for the participation of university publishers will be a milestone in terms of presence and impact of the important work done by university and research center publishers. The University of Valencia's publishing house, in this case, will be located at stand 5, in block 26C, in the Plaza de la Ciencia y las Universidades, at the center of the route.

In addition, the stand of Publications of the University of Valencia will have the presence of several of its authors to sign copies of their books.

Saturday, May 27, from 11 a.m., Alejandro Pérez-Olivares will sign Madrid captive Occupation and control of a city (1936-1948).

On Sunday, June 4, from 11:30 am, Isabel Morant will sign copies of the book The place of women in history.

Saturday, June 10, María Isabel Blázquez will be signing copies of the work The menstruation. From biology to symbol, from 11 am.
