Sessions analyse the role of education in the approach to socio-environmental conflicts

The Faculty of Teacher Training hosts, on 27 October and on 2, 9, 16 and 23 November, several sessions that analyse the role of education in the approach to socio-environmental conflicts. The opening takes place on Thursday 27 October, at 17 hours, with the participation of José Miguel Soriano, director of the UNESCO’s Chair of the UV; Manuel Monfort, dean of the Faculty of Teacher Training; and Juan Marcos Calatayud, director of the IES San Vicente Ferrer.

The sessions are part of the programming of the call for projects of the UNESCO’S Chair 2016. The coordinator of the sessions is Carlos Caurín, professor of Experimental and Social Sciences Teaching of the Faculty of Teacher Training of the UV.

The session for this Thursday will be about ‘Educational research and social representation of the environment: towards new common grounds’, with Antonio José Morales, Xose Manuel Souto, Diana Santana and Dafne García.
