The solidary race and walk “Get active for the diabetes, Valencia!” planned for next Sunday, 18th of November, in the city of Valencia has been suspended owing to the rain. The clinics of the Universitat de València were expected to get involved providing assistance and information.
The faculty and the student body from the Odontology Clinic of the university had planned to perform oral revisions and give advice to the participants; the podiatry clinic was in charge of conducting the activity “explore your feet’s sensitivities: neuropathic screening”. Furthermore, the optometry clinic had to perform visual revisions, and the nutrition clinic a physic and physiotherapy activity “physio-therapy massages for the muscular post-race healing-process”.
