This Monday, 11 May, marks the start of the last phase of the ITC aid plan funded by the Universitat de València's own resources, which has already carried out 3 phases for the delivery of equipment to the 235 people who submitted their requests for ITC resources.

On April 28, the Universitat de València began the procedure for the delivery of computer equipment under the ITC Aid Plan for UV students that was implemented to respond to the needs identified from the analysis of the survey 'ITC Resources and Needs for the Student Body' of the UV.

Initiated with its own funds, the Universitat de València has carried out 3 phases of sending the materials requested by the students. So far, 100% of the requests have been completely formalized, and a total of 84 data connections, 81 laptops and 70 Internet-connected devices have been sent to 235 destinations in the provinces of Valencia, Castelló, Alicante, Cuenca, Albacete, Ciudad Real, Murcia, Lleida, Madrid, Málaga and Las Palmas de Gran Canaria.

Until 15 May, students who have not previously requested it will have free access to laptop computers on loan and/or Internet access.

In order to access this aid, students must send an e-mail to ajudestic@uv.es. In the case of those students who do not have access to the Internet to apply, a colleague may contact the Universitat de València via this e-mail to identify their situation and needs and to look for a solution that will allow them to overcome the digital divide.

In phases 3 and 4 of this Aid Plan, the Generalitat Valenciana has collaborated in the allocation of Internet connections, in response to the request made by the Principal of the UV to the regional governments of Spain and the Generalitat Valenciana, which you can consult at UVNews: http://links.uv.es/QBTUTX8
