These were the medals won by the athletes of the UV in the different tests of the Championship:

• Fem. 800m freestyle Carolina Pradas: bronze medal
• Fem. 100m breaststroke Carla Vidal: bronze medal
• Masc. 200m backstroke David León: silver medal
• Masc. 50m freestyle Héctor Fontabella: bronze medal
• Fem. 400m strokes Carla Vidal: silver medal
• Masc. 50m backstroke Héctor Fontabella: bronze medal
• Fem. 200m breaststroke Sara Vázquez: bronze medal
• Masc. 200m butterfly David León: gold medal
• Masc. 200m freestyle Carlos Rodenas: bronze medal
• Masc. 100m backstroke Héctor Fontabella: gold medal

In adapted swimming, Claudia Hernández won the gold medal in 100m backstroke and beat the record with the time 1:11.68 Likewise, Claudia Hernández also accumulated two more gold medals, with the first position in 200m strokes and in 50m butterfly, and a bronze medal in 100m strokes. On this part, Laura Mengó won the bronze medal in 50m freestyle and Ana. M. Rolania the silver medal in 100m strokes.

Two bronze medal in the CEU of Wrestling

On the other hand, the Universitat de València also added two more metals to its final medal count in the Spanish University Championship. The Selection of Wrestling of the UV won two bronze medals in the CEU celebrated in April, championship organised by the University of Murcia in the Alcázares (Murcia).

Following with the national championships, the beginning of May was marked for the CEU of badminton, where the team of the UV was eliminated in the teams phase. Their selector, Iván Gallardo highlighted the masculine doubles, who closed the competition in the second position.

Next competitions

The dates for the next Spanish University Championship in which the UV will be represented are: at the beginning of May, during the first week of the month, will take place the CEU of athletics,, karate and taekwondo; then the CEU of football, orientation, rugby, table tennis, archery, judo and triathlon. The weekend of the 27th and the 28th of April, took place the CEU of house riding in the Ucjc Sports Club (Madrid);

Regarding the CADU, next Sunday will be celebrated the autonomic competition of Ekiden in the Jaume I University.

The UV organises the CEU of orientation, archery and triathlon

To conclude, we will remark the CEU of orientation, archery and triathlon, three competitions organised by the Universitat de València. The CEU of orientation will celebrated from the 6th to the 8th of May in the town Titaguas (Valencia), the competition of archery will take place in the UV installations from the 6th to the 8th of May and the one of triathlon will take place the 11th of May in Cullera.
