Ten thousand euros in grants for the entrepreneurship program UVemprén LAB, aimed for doctoral students

The University of Valencia announces UVemprén LAB, an entrepreneurship program to develop the business ideas of UV doctoral students with €10,000 in grants.

Doctoral students can now register to participate in the first edition of UVemprén LAB, an intensive training program in the development of business ideas aimed at students of the University of Valencia who have a business idea. The goal is to speed up entrepreneurial projects of students with a validated business model or support the development of a minimum viable product or service without having the company established. Any student with an interest in innovation, service design and innovative learning can participate.

The Vice-Rectorate for Innovation and Transfer announces these grants thanks to the collaboration agreement between the University of Valencia and the Department of Sustainable Economy, Productive Sectors, Trade and Labor of the Generalitat Valenciana to promote the innovative and sustainable entrepreneurial campus #LLAMP#5UCV.

The program is structured in two phases to be held between May 22nd and 26th.

  • The first phase will consist of a series of formative workshops about entrepreneurship aimed at developing the business ideas of the participants.
  • The second phase will be focused on the presentation of the entrepreneurial projects in a public session for evaluation by the Evaluation Commission. Three projects will be selected from the ones presented, so that the first one selected will receive a prize of 5,000 € while the other two will receive 2,500 € each.

It will be possible to participate individually or in teams of 2 to 5 people. Places are limited.
