The students of the Universitat de València continue collecting their medals during the Spanish University Championship (CEU), held during the month of April at various venues throughout the Andalusian Community. Adapted swimming took center stage, with the UV standing out by winning three silver medals.

The CEU in swimming and para-swimming 2026 was held on April 10-12 in the pool of the Faculty of Sports Sciences at the University of Granada. The competition, which brought together students from various universities to compete in events of different styles, Enrique Alhambra played a key role for the Valencian delegation by winning three silver medals in the 100-meter freestyle, 100-meter butterfly, and 100-meter backstroke events. This outstanding performance was instrumental in helping the Universitat de València finish 13th in the overall swimming medal count, with a particularly strong showing in the adapted category.

The UV also shown great results in different sport disciplines, not only in swimming. During the CEU at the horse riding competition, also held in Granada, Miguel Ángel Albert won a bronze medal in dressage.

Meanwhile, at the orienteering championship held in Almería, the university team competed in events that were highly demanding both technically and physically, finishing in 11th place in the overall university standings.

With these results, the Universitat de València continues to make headway at the CEU with a strong showing, led by three silver medals in para-swimming.
