Three Valencian students will participate in the national phase of the Spanish Math Olympiad

Last Tuesday 20 of February, the 54th Spanish Math Olympiad Awards were given at a local phase. The winners were Félix Moreno Peñarrubia (Eliana Secondary School), Leonardo Costa Lesage (Santa Cruz de Mislata Secondary School), Héctor Sanchis Pérez and Andrés Gutiérrez Jaime (German School of Valencia), Juli Carrión Abad (Clot del Moro Secondary School, Sagunto) and Pablo Molina Enguídanos (San José Jesuitas de Valencia Schools).
Apart from the awards, Félix Moreno Peñarrubia, Leonardo Costa Lesage and Héctor Sánchis Pérez will participate in the 54th Spanish Math Olympiad, which will take place in March 15-17 on Las Lagunillas Campus at the University of Jaén.
The Delegation for University Integration gives a grant (worth 1,000 €) to the winning students who enrol themselves in the first course of an Undergraduate’s Degree at the Universitat de València.
78 students from different state and private secondary schools within the province of Valencia participated in the local phase of the 54th Spanish Math Olympiad that took place on January 19. The test is jointly organized by the Universitat de València and the Universitat Politècnica de València.
