Two MOOC courses of the UV

The UV is already present in the Miríada X platform with the first two MOOCs that offer courses in the field of philology and law. The objective is to upload twelve more videos which will be added to the divulgation web whenever they will be carried out, according to the office of the vice-principal for Training Policies and Educational Quality.

The first videos of the UV correspond to a basic course of Latin language and culture, imparted by professors Carles Padilla and Josep L. Teodoro; and the other one about the development of the employment relation, imparted by Carlos Alfonso and Gemma Fabregat.

Miríada X is the major platform of MOOCs in Spanish. It is an online training platform which was set in motion in 2013. A great number of universities of countries such as Spain, Colombia, Chile, Argentina, Peru, Mexico, Puerto Rico, Dominican Republic or El Salvador, among others, participate in this project.

Miríada X wants to promote open knowledge in high education in the Ibero-American area; a free knowledge that will be transmitted and enriched through the Net. The platform makes massive open online courses (MOOCs) available to all the people interested, free of charge and through a non-restrictive platform without conditions, timetable or any cost.
