A research made by the Universitat de València, awarded as Best Conference in the Ageingnomics Seminar 2025 of the MAPFRE Foundation
The work proposes new strategies of physical and nutritional functional exercise to promote the integral well-being in longevity

The Universitat de València has recently received an important recognition in the active and healthy ageing area. The work titled “Nuevos protocolos de ejercicio físico y nutrición funcional para transformar el bienestar integral en la nueva longevidad”, developed by the full university professor Juan Carlos Colado, has been awarded as Best Conference by the Scientific Committee of the Ageingnomics Academic Seminar 2025, organised by MAPFRE Foundation.
The award, delivered inside the framework of this distinguished international forum, recognises the innovative character and the potential impact of the presented proposal, that plans the combination of advanced strategies of physical exercise with functional nutrition for the improvement on life quality of old people.
The Dr. Colado, responsible of the Research Group in “Prevención y salud en el ejercicio y el deporte (PHES)”, highlights “the importance of continuing generating rigorous scientific knowledge that responds to the great challenges of new longevity”.
The Ageingnomics Seminar, celebrated in Madrid on 6 May, reunited academic referents and professionals around key topics such as life quality, emotional well-being and the active role of old people in society.
