The Universitat de València celebrates on Thursday 28 April the International Dance Day with a Flash Mob. The event will take place from 11 to 11:30 at the terrace between the Faculty of Teacher Training and the Library, at the Tarongers Campus. In the activity collaborates the Conservatory of Higher Dance Studies of Valencia. The activity is opened for the public, and students are particularly welcomed to participate in the creation of a small choreography that will be rehearsed and danced in one session of half an hour.

The Flash Mob will be organised by the Universitat- by means of the management of the SeDi Information and Promotion Service- and the Faculty of Teacher Training, along with the Conservatory of Higher Dance Studies of Valencia, in the setting of celebrations that are being held worldwide on the occasion of the International Dance Day, established by the UNESCO in 1982.

Dance is not just a performing art, but also a mean of expression that accompanies human beings from their births. Its language, the body language, is immediate and also accessible, the instrument is always with us. With this philosophy, the Universitat de València and the Conservatory of Higher Dance Studies call students to participate. You only need to go to the session, with the only intention of fully and collectively enjoying the dance.
