The University of Valencia, through the Vice-Rectorate for Culture and Society, has awarded the best Master's theses on the cultural, natural and scientific heritage of the academic institution during the academic years 2017-2018, 2018-2019, 2019-2020, 2020-2021 and 2021-2022. The total amount of the prizes for the selected works of this first edition reaches 3,500 €.

The first prize of 1,500 € was awarded to the work " Valorization of the mural paintings 'Allegory of the Immaculate Vow' through an international collaboration project for its conservation and restoration". In addition, two runners-up prizes of 1,000 € each have been awarded to the works 'Review of the herpetological collection of the "Museo de Ciencias Naturales Padre Ignacio Sala S.J." attached to the Museum of Natural History of the University of Valencia (MUVHN)' and 'Collection of school maps from the map library of the University of Valencia'.

The call of the Vice-Rectorate for Culture and Society has awarded the best final master's degree works carried out in any official postgraduate course offered by the Universitat de València that have been defended during the 2017-2018, 2018-2019, 2019-2020, 2020-2021 and 2021-2022 academic years, that deal with some aspect related to the cultural, natural and scientific heritage of this Universitat, and that have obtained a minimum grade of eight points.

The evaluation committee of the works has been formed by Manuel González Ferrandis, delegate of the rector for the Student body of the UV; Jaime Güemes Heras, director of the Botanical Garden; Miguel Requena Jiménez, professor of the Faculty of Geography and History and coordinator of Culture of the Blasco Ibáñez Campus; and Alicia García Lluch, cultural management technician of the Vice-rectorate of Culture and Society.
