The Universitat de València hosts the I eSports conference on Thursday

The Faculty of Physical Activity and Sport Sciences hosts on Thursday, February 14th, the I eSports Conference. The purpose of this conference is to make eSports (electronic sports) known in the field of physical activity. The conference will start at 10:15 at the Saló de Graus of the faculty.

The conference includes three presentations, a debate and a workshop. The first presentation, The eSports industry and its impact on today’s society will be given by Sergio Reyes (TopTier Company S.L). The second presentation will be made by Adrian Todolí (Universitat de València) and will address eSports regulation and its implication as a sport. The third presentation, Use of videogames during leisure time and physical education, will be given by Fernando Gómez (Universitat de València).

The debate Future challenges and perspectives between sport and eSports will take place in the afternoon. Pere Molina, Fernando Gómez, Adrián Todolí and Sergio Reyes will take part in it. Ferran Calabuig will be the moderator.

The last activity that will be carried out during the conference will be the virtual reality simulators workshop, with driving videogames and Just Dance.

The conference has been organised by the Col·lectiu d’Estudiants de Postgrau Especialistes en Gestió de l’Activitat Física i l’Esport and the Master’s Degree in Physical Activity and Sport Management.
