The School of Engineering (ETSE-UV) hosted a Career STEM Fair of the Unviversitat de València, which was the last career fair event during 2025/2026 academic year. This event was also particularly significant, as it marked the first time that the rector of the Universitat de València, Juan Luis Gandía, attended one of the institution’s job fairs.
The STEM Fair, organized by ADEIT Foundation through UVjob was addressed to students from STEM field - Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics, with the aim of connecting students with the professional world, facilitating direct contact with companies and organizations in the sector, and raising awareness of the main career paths and internship opportunities related to science and technology degrees, thereby establishing itself as a key platform for promoting employability and university talent.
Direct contact with companies and organizations from the STEM sector
During the event, students could visit stands of numerous companies and organizations related to the STEM sector, establish direct contact with recruiters and gain firsthand insight into the labor market’s actual talent needs. This exchange has allowed to explore various job and internship options, expand your professional network and discover in-demand job profiles.
A practical program focused on employability
The STEM Fair also featured an extensive program of hands-on activities, including MASTERCLASSES@ETSEUV, held by professionals that have shared recent tendencies of the sector, emerging career paths and key competition in the STEM field.
These sessions have offered guidance and practical tools that have helped students showcase their talents, education, and skills, thereby facilitating their transition into the workforce.
A place to build your professional future
The STEM Fair of the Universitat de València has established itself as the ideal place to begin the journey toward employment, bridging the gap between university education and the business world and supporting students as they build their professional futures. This initiative has strengthened the commitment of the Universitat de València through ADEIT and UVjob, to its students’ employability, knowledge transfer, and transition into the workforce.
