Universitat de València participates in the European project CeBMI (Erasmus+ K2) that will last three years and involve researchers from the Faculty of Physiotherapy. A centre for Biomedical and Medical Informatics (BMI) will realize the project to encourage the creation and dissemination of BMI interdisciplinary courses and promote a favourable environment for collaboration between medical and technical universities, as well as BMI-related businesses.

The European project University-industry educational Centre in advanced Biomedical and Medical Informatics (CeBMI) was born within the call for applications to Knowledge Alliances Erasmus+ K2 initiative. The project will bring together educational establishments and business to boost a new tendency for interdisciplinary education and embed the use of information technologies in the medical and biomedical fields.

The alliance consists of 13 institutions from nine EU countries: Žilinská Univerzita (Slovakia), Leeds Beckett University (Great Britain), Institute for Medical Informatics of the Technical University of Braunschweig (Germany), Università Campus Bio-Medico di Roma (Italy), Rey Juan Carlos University (Spain), University of Oulu (Finland), University of Ostrava (Czech Republic), and Universitat de València.
