The Universitat hosts the debate for the General Elections in Valencia organised by Cadena SER

The Matilde Salvador Assembly Hall of La Nau Cultural Centre of the Universitat de València hosted on Monday the first debate of the candidacy in Valencia for the general election, organised by Cadena SER.

The candidates who are head of the list for the five main parties have debated about the current situation and about the proposals of the leader candidacies in the province of Valencia in the process of elections for the Corts Generals which will take place on the 28th of April of 2019.

Organised by Cadena SER, this debate took place at 10 AM this morning at the Matilde Salvador Assembly Hall of La Nau Cultural Centre of the Universitat de València, a polyvalent and specially equipped room, aimed at hosting stage activities. On Friday, this location hosted the first debate of the regional elections which will take place on the same day that the general elections, for the first time in Valencian history.

Belén Hoyo, for People’s Party, José Luís Ábalos for PSPV-PSOE, Maria Muñoz for Citizens, Joan Baldoví for Compromís and Héctor Illueca for Unides Podem have debated for more than an hour moderated by the regional director of Cadena SER in the Valencian Community, Bernardo Guzmán.

The debate has been retransmitted through the different stations of Cadena SER at the Valencian Community, the mobile devices application and its website. The radio and television signal has been carried out by the Audiovisual Workshop (TAU) of the Universitat de València, which counts with a wide experience in the retransmission of acts and events, including electoral debates.

The Matilde Salvador Assembly Hall has stands for the audience that, on this occasion, have been occupied by the authorities of the Generalitat, such as the President of the Corts Valencianes, the leaders of the Valencian business and union organisations, members of the candidacy running for elections, as well as the directors and representatives of the media in the Valencian Community.
