On Friday, the Matilde Salvador Assembly Hall of La Nau Cultural Centre of the Universitat de València hosted the first debate of the regional elections organised by Cadena SER.

Just like four years ago, the Universitat de València has hosted, the first day of the campaign for the regional elections of 2019, the first electoral debate among the candidacy that run for the Presidency of the Generalitat Valenciana.

Organised by Cadena SER, this debate took place at 10 AM this morning at the Matilde Salvador Assembly Hall of La Nau Cultural Centre of the Universitat de València, a polyvalent and specially equipped room, aimed at hosting stage activities.

Moderated by the regional director of Cadena SER of the Valencian Community, Bernardo Guzmán, the debate has gathered the participation of the candidates for presidency of the Generalitat Valenciana of the political parties that are running for the regional elections this year and with representation in the parliament: Rubén Martínez Dalmau, for Unides Podem Esquerra Unida; Toni Cantó, for Citizens; Mònica Oltra, for Compromís; Isabel Bonig, for People’s Party; and Ximo Puig, for PSPV-PSOE.

The debate has been retransmitted through the different stations of Cadena SER at the Valencian Community, the mobile devices application and its website. The radio and television signal has been carried out by the Audiovisual Workshop (TAU) of the Universitat de València, which counts with a wide experience in the retransmition of acts and events, including electoral debates.

Just like this, the Universitat de València already retransmitted through radio and tv signal the debates organised by Cadena SER for the local and regional elections of 2015.

The Matilde Salvador Assembly Hall has stands for the audience that, in this occasion, have been occupied by the authorities of the Generalitat, such as the President of the Corts Valencianes, the leaders of the Valencian business and union organisations, members of the candidacy running for elections, as well as the directors and representatives of the media in the Valencian Community.

The Universitat de València has provided this live audio and video signal to the Valencian media. The debate can be viewed through the Cadena SER website.
