The University announces the 17th Demetrio Ribes Award for research on transport, urbanism and patrimony.

The Demetrio Ribes Chair has announced the 17th edition of the award named after the Chair. It aims to reward the best research work related to history of transport, history of public works, civil engineering heritage, or history of land use planning. The award is worth 6,000 euros. Deadline for submitting entries is 7 September 2021.

The prize is aimed at research work carried out by graduates, undergraduates, postgraduates and PhDs in any academic discipline. The purpose of this prize is to promote the study of the history of public work, transport, communications, civil engineering heritage and structuring of the territory. As well as the dissemination of the winning works in the university context and in society at large. The works can be presented in Valencian or Spanish, they must be original and unpublished and between 200 and 250 pages in length.
