Since 2016, 75,500 euros have been granted on aids to 26 projects destined to the promotion of social and cultural inclusion in many vulnerable groups that reside in some neighbourhoods of the city of Valencia. This has been carried out through performing arts, pedagogy, urbanism and visual arts with the objective of raising awareness about the value of cultural education in order to foster change.
‘Emergents’ is a part of La Nau Social, a course of action of the office of the Vice-principal for Culture and Sports which includes several programmes in order to make culture more accesible, reduce inequality through sociocultural intervention and channel spontaneous cultural impetus.
