UV launches the third edition of the competition 5U-CV START UP a new contest for entrepreneurs

Universitat de València, as part of the programme called EMPREN + organized by the Office of the Vice-Principal of Research and Political Science, has launched the third edition of the competition 5U-CV START UP. It is an initiative that aims to encourage the spirit of innovation among university students and it means to stimulate business projects and start-ups. The proposals can be presented until the 8th of September.
This competition will take place simultaneously at five different public universities as part of the programme Campus del Emprendedor Innovador (The Innovative Entrepreneur’s Campus), financed by Conselleria de Economía Sostenible, Sectores Productivos, Comercio y Trabajo (Valencian Department of Sustainable Economy, Productive Sectors, Commerce and Work). The objective is to generate new business projects, develop business skills and encourage a spirit of innovation in the context of academia in Valencia.
The competition, whose categories are Start-Up and Start-Up Junior, will award 20.250 euros in prizes to winners of five public Universities of Valencia.
