Within the framework of agreement with the Valencian Department of Universal Health and Public Health, the medical services of the Universitat de València will vaccine, upon inscription, members of the university community (students, teaching and research staff and administrative and service staff) who have not completed their vaccination programme against COVID at the health offices of the UV campuses (Blasco Ibánez, Burjassot-Paterna and Tarongers) on 18 and 20 October.

On Monday 27 September, the Regional Minister for Universal Health and Public Health addressed the principals of Valencian universities to accept their collaboration offer in the vaccination process against COVID-19, taking part in the vaccinattion phase those people who, until now, have not completed their vaccination programme.

The aim of this new phase of collaboration is to bring this service closer to the study and workplace, facilitating the compatibility of opening hours for members of the university community who have not yet iniciated or completed their vaccination programme.

After the technical coordination meeting held on Tuesday 28 September with the Regional Ministry, and the internal coordination tasks, the principal of the Universitat de València, Mª Vicenta Mestre, informed of the process that will be followed to the deans and school directors on Thursday 30 September and to the Governing Council on Tuesday 5 October.

Under the coordination of the office of the deputy general manager for Economic Coordination and Services, the Health and Safety and the Environment Service will vaccinate members of the university community who wish to be vaccinated through their health offices, by prior appointment.
The electronic management department and the Website and Marketing Unit of the University have collaborated in the design of this process.
