UVemprén collaborates with the XI Conference of Pharmacy Students
The XI Conference of Pharmacy Students will take place virtually on the 11th and 12th of March with the motto “Insist, resist and never desist”. The conference will involve and have the support of the Office of the Vice-Principal for Employment, through the Entrepreneurship Unit of the University of Valencia (UVemprén), and will focus on different entrepreneurship opportunities for Pharmacy graduates. Success stories will be used as examples and students will recieve entrepreneurship guidelines for different career opportunities offered by the degree.

The conference will be held virtually. Therefore, Pharmacy students from all over Spain can attend, as well as students from similar disciplines such as Biotechnology, Medicine and Biology. This year’s topic, entrepreneurship, appeals to all of them.
It will focus on entrepreneurship within the degree’s several career opportunities: pharmacy, research, pharmaceutical industry, etc., thus proving that it is possible to innovate in all areas of the pharmaceutical world. Success stories will be discussed and useful tools, which can easily be extrapolated to other areas of life, will be presented. For example, publick speaking or writing an elevator pitch, which can be used for the preparation and defence of the final project (TFG).
The event has the support of sponsors such as Kern Pharma, Cinfa, Angelini, Genotipia, Hefame, Vectem and FarmaFir. As in previous years, there will be a wide range of workshops, round tables, lectues and presentations of scientific papers eligible to wint the Hefame Foundation prize.
